Lapo Elkann opens the doors to Garage Italia in Piazzale Accursio, Milan. The
new headquarters are in an iconic building, the former petrol station Agip Supercortemaggiore,
restored by Michele De Lucchi’s aMDL studio. Passion, creativity,
design and excellence meet in the creative hub of the Italian entrepreneur,
including the bar and restaurant of Chef Carlo Cracco. Open every day from 9:30
a.m. to 2:00 a.m., Garage Italia will welcome enthusiasts of style and beauty at
any moment of the day, from breakfast to after dinner, bringing a breath of fresh
air into the life of the Portello neighbourhood. Its 1,700 sqm are distributed on
two floors with a basement for service and staff rooms. On the extremity of the
terrace that looks out towards Milan, there is a small space, the “Riva Privèe”
which is available only upon booking. It is adorned like the famous motorboat
Aquarama.The cuisine we propose is in the name of Made In Italy, with simple
and accessible dishes, absolute quality and research of primary products.
Everything starts from the greatness of Italian regional recipes, presented to the
public in a more innovative and creative way by Chef Gabriele Faggionato under
the direct supervision of Chef Cracco.
