Among all the castles of the Langhe, that of Roddi is often regarded as the most interesting in terms of history and architecture, perched on top of the hill it majestically overlooks the town. It was owned by Gaio Francesco della Mirandola, descendent and grandson of the famous humanist and philosopher Pico della Mirandola. The castle is distinguished by a central body of three floors and by two different cylindrical towers. The biggest surprise is found inside, where there are numerous decorations, coffered wooden ceilings and wonderful historic kitchens dating from the sixteenth century.
