In a 1867 building, in the old part of town, at only 100 metres from where the old city walls used to stand, there is a corner of ancient Rome, Giulio Pane&Ojo: sapid roasts, pajata, puntarelle, and artichokes. Ancient recipes which are still contemporary and yet faithful to tradition. Excellent wines, tasty meat, plenty of fruit and vegetables and unique cheeses, including pecorino and ricotta, appreciated well beyond regional boundaries.
