“T” is for Tea, but also for Tao, the “way” of tea, a ceremony which in China is not only a fascinating ritual but also a path of self discovery. The Green T, Rome’s leading high Chinese cuisine restaurant, serves rare qualities of tea to be sipped on also during meals. The restaurant opens out over four floors, like the spiralling spout of a steaming tea pot. In the afternoon, tea is served with a selection of biscuits, whilst sweet and savoury snacks prepared by the chef can be ordered from the menu. At lunch and dinner, Green T transforms into a gourmet restaurant.
