The museum was established in 2007 in the multifunctional cultural centre ‘G. Arpino’ in Via Guala 45: the collection called “Just for fun” is on display ‘- although the quantity and quality of the pieces are extremely important (more than one thousand pieces, from the end of the 1700 to the 1960’s, many of them are unique) – owned by the Braidese Antiquarian Michele Chiesa who decided to the entrust it to the town of Bra. In order to make it more accessible to a larger number of visitors the new exhibition is divided into six rooms: Early Childhood, Dolls, The School, Boys’ Toys, Airplanes and Pedal Vehicles together with Small Theatres and Puppets. Not only does the collection include industrial and handicraft products but it also contains household toys with peculiar historical characteristic traits.
