Quadrato is located in the heart of Turin, in the Quadrilatero
Romano. It has been created from the renovated ancient convent
of St Augustine, between Via delle Orfane and Via Santa Chiara,
converted by Gruppo Building into a contemporary apartment
block. A home designed for a mobile class, one that is flexible and
creative, or even for those who are living in Turin on a temporary
basis or visiting the city for tourism or leisure. After studying the plans
of Boffa, Petrone & Partners, and after working at the sides of Piazza
San Carlo, first on the Baroque of Via Alfieri with The Number 6, “the
most beautiful house in the world” (ArchDaily prize as Building of the
Year 2015), then on the Neoclassic of Lagrange12, restoring a building
from the 17th century. Building has inaugurated a new house
inside an ecclesiastical structure dating back to the 16th century,
confirming its mission to safeguard Turin’s historic residential
heritage. The apartments in the building are available for rent, or for
short and medium-period lets. It also offers an urban relais formula
within an historic context. Quadrato is a property investment in the
most historic heart of the city.
