At the beginning of the 1700’s, the Marquis Baldinucci, treasurer for the Pope, had a sumptuous palazzo built in Florence. In 2001, the Palazzo Ciofi- Jacometti was returned to its former splendour: the restoration of the building was done with full respect for the original architectural elements, recovering materials, furniture and frescoes dating back to the 18th century. The 18th century building of the Relais Santa Croce is laid out on three levels. The ground floor is shared with the Enoteca Pinchiorri: they share the main entrance on via Ghibellina and the hall with access to the left part of the hotel. The courtyard remains exclusively for use of the Enoteca as well as the other rooms of the ground floor.
