SOGNO E AVVENTURA 14/10/2017 – 25/02/2018

To mark the 80th anniversary of the release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937),
WOW Spazio Fummetto – the museum dedicated to cartoons, illustration and animation
in Milan – has set up a one-of-a-kind exhibition: “Sogno e Avventura”, dedicated
entirely to Disney princesses such as Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle,
Ariel, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Tiana, Merida and other favourites,
such as Queen Elsa and Anna. Original drawings from important archives and private
collections, as well as photo sets, movie posters, blow ups, games, gadgets, historical
albums, “Fiabe Sonore” fairy tales, videos, soundtracks, comics, original drawings and
vintage books will all contribute to a unique experience that will no doubt draw the
audience into the magical world of princesses, their friends, their enemies, their princes,
and the discovery of the origins of the tales, from the Brothers Grimm to Hans Christian
Andersen and Charles Perrault.
