St James Hotel and Club is a member of Althoff Collection and Small Luxury Hotels. The hotel is home to 60 beautiful bedrooms and suites, many withspacious terraces, the restaurant, bar and beautifully designed, intimate events spaces.The Penthouse Suite has a private lift and occupies the entire seventh floor ofthe hotel, measuring 130 square metres. It has played home to the rich and famous and features two large bedrooms, two sitting rooms and 50 square foot private terrace.Renowned German designer Anne Marie Jagdfeld (Hotel Adlon, Berlin, Meissen) is responsible for the hotel’s design. The palette throughout is a subtle spectrum of soothing neutrals, with a strong period flavour. Handmade silk wallpaper adorns the walls, handcrafted Murano glass chandeliers hang from the ceilings and guests sleep on the finest Hypnos mattresses, also used by the Royal Family.
