Since February 2024, the Wasabi restaurant has reopened its doors under the new management of Masanori Tezuka, the owner of Miyabi, one of the restaurants that has significantly spread Japanese gastronomic culture in Turin.
At Wasabi, there is a strong focus on the selection of locally grown seasonal vegetables, and sake plays a central role, naturally paired with the tasting menu.
Highly requested by customers is the Tonkatsu, a dish consisting of a pork cutlet, one or two centimeters thick, breaded and fried. Once cooked, the cutlet is cut into small pieces (for easy handling with chopsticks) and served alongside shredded cabbage, Japanese white rice, and miso soup.
Monday evenings are dedicated to ramen, offered at a special price of €16.
